Reservations – Change Reservation Screen

Reservations are easy to change in RDP. Click the appropriate button, tab, or field and enter the updated information.

Click Tab Headers or Buttons Circled in Red to View the Resulting Screens.

Change Reservation – Main Notes

  • The reservation number is automatically assigned. This identifier is used throughout the reservation’s life cycle – from confirmation number to in-house folio number. It can also be used to search for checked-out reservations.
  • The guest address and phone number is automatically loaded from guest history.
  • Rate overrides can be password protected.
  • The system tracks advance deposits and security deposits (condominium and timeshare customers).
  • Special requests are automatically transferred from the reservation to housekeeping reports.
  • In addition to room charges, up to 99 incidental charges can be automatically posted each night. For example, many urban hotels charge nightly for parking.
  • The system tracks the market code and source of business for each reservation. Detailed statistical reports may then be printed to track marketing efforts. See Sample Reports.
