Wireless Door Lock Interface to LockState

RDP is pleased to announce the availability of an Interface Subscription to wireless door locks form www.lockstate.com.  The RDP-LockState Interface is sold on a subscription basis for $100/month, which includes interface support and product updates to the Interface.
LockState wireless door locks eliminate the need for key cards or physical keys.  The RDP system interfaces with LockState to generate a unique lock code for each reservation. The code is only valid during the guests stay.   The code can be sent to the guest via a modifiable confirmation from LockState.   The LockState-RDP solution is ideal for Vacation Rental companies who manage many houses in different locations.   Guests do not have to stop at a central location to pick up a key.   The solution can also be used for hotels or resorts who wish to eliminate key cards or physical keys.

Home Away, VRBO & More Direct Connections to Push Your Inventory 

 

RDP has a direct interface with HomeAway, which provides rates and availability by unit number to HomeAway and their partners, including VRBO and 15 international sites in France, Brazil, Australia, Germany, UK, Canada, Mexico, Spain, Italy, Netherlands, Portugal, Denmark, Sweden, Finland and Norway.

RDP’s interface works with both the Advertising Model and the “Pay-Per-Booking” model from HomeAway. With the Advertising model RDP sends all content to HomeAway, and bookings can then be made on RDP’s commission Free Internet Reservation Module. The flow of events is:

  1. After Installation of the RDP HomeAway interface, you can enter all the content about each of your rental units into the RDP system, including all pictures and descriptive information required by HomeAway.
  2. The RDP interface sends the content to Home Away automatically, along with Rates and Availability.
  3. The guest uses Home Away, VRBO, or one of the 15+ affiliated sites to search for Vacation Rentals, which displays your properties, including rates, availability, and all the pictures and descriptions
  4.  In the “Advertising” model, the guest is sent from the HomeAway site directly to RDP’s IRM Booking Engine, which stores the reservation immediately in your database without commissions.
  5. In the “pay-per-reservation” model, HomeAway (or their affiliated site) collects all the reservation information.  They then send the Reservation to the RDP interface, and it is automatically loaded into your database.
  6. You have 24 hours to approve or disapprove of a given “pay-per-reservation”.The Home Away/VRBO interface can greatly increase the distribution of your rental units and your revenue.
