IRM.Net Upgrades for Current RDP Customers
RDP has released
IRM.Net, a new module to extend the capabilities of our IRM classic
module. IRM.Net uses the latest Microsoft ".Net" technology. IRM.Net is
faster and provides many more features than the Legacy IRM - please see:
IRM.Net Overview. IRM.Net is also
PCI Credit Card complaint, and IRM classic is not. All
customers must upgrade to IRM.Net by 7/1/2010 to meet one of the
PCI
credit card compliance requirements. Upgrading from IRM Classic to IRM.Net requires the following:
- The new IRM.Net Reservation module costs $2,000 per property for
customers already using IRM Classic, which includes IRM.net software
upgrade and optional installation
and configuration assistance.
- The new IRM.Net Owner Access Module costs an additional $2,000
per property for IRM.net software upgrade and optional installation
and configuration assistance. Owner Internet
functions include: owner reservations, guest of owner reservations,
calendars, newsletters, viewing statements, paying bills, entering/viewing
work orders, and more. This module only applies to customers who
use our Vacation Rental system, Condominium-Hotel system or timeshare/fractional/club
membership. See "Owner

- Installation of IRM.Net works much better with a new Windows
2008 server. This allows you to use IRM Classic on your old
server while you configure all the new features of IRM.Net on your
new server. See "hardware
requirements".
- Analytics & Campaign Management
is available as an option
- The
Virtual Store module is available to sell additional guest services
- RDPAPI is available to provide
complete web services integration to your marketing website as an
option.
