The top third of the yield management screen displays the guest name, travel agent and/or group information, the default tax code, reservation dates, and the number of people (by classification, i.e. - adults, children, etc.).
Rates are calculated by up to four people classifications. Each classification label is customized by your property.
If your property only calculates rates by one or two people classifications, the remaining ones are suppressed.
The middle third of the yield management screen displays availability by room type.
The bottom third of the yield management screen displays rate plans. The reservationist matches the guest's room type preference with the correct rate plan.
Each night of the reservation can by assigned a unique rate plan. For example, the first two days of the reservation can be assigned the RACK rate and the remaining days are assigned a package plan.
The tax rate can be overridden on a reservation-by-reservation basis.
Up to 100 lines of free-form notes can be added to each reservation - helpful for passing information between reservations and front desk personnel.
