RDP's Internet Reservation Module (IRM) can display current rate and availability information on your marketing website, as well as allow guests to make reservations and process credit card deposits. Reservations are stored immediately in the same database as normal phone-in reservations, providing one database for true "last room" availability. All reservations made via the IRM are completely commission free - no payments to RDP or any other entity are required. Key features include:
The RDP system allows a mix of hotel rooms, condominium rentals, boat slip rentals, and camping sites. System reports can be separated by rental type or combined.. For example, separate arrival reports can be printed for the camp sites and the hotel rooms, or print one report combining all arrivals. Financial reports, such as revenue generated each day, can also be separated by rental type. For additional information see:
The system allows a mix of short term and long term campsite reservations. Short term reservations can automatically calculate rates for each day for different campsites with full yield management. Long term reservations can automatically post rent daily or once a month. Leases can be printed with Crystal Reports. Other reservation related features include:
RDP's Internet Reservation Module (IRM) allows millions of potential guests, groups, travel agents, and wholesalers to check availability and make commission-free campsite reservations 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The IRM is designed to work in conjunction with your existing marketing website. Reservations are stored immediately in the same database as normal "phone-in" reservations, with one database for true "last room" availability.
A "site map" can be displayed on the Internet showing the location of all campsites. The Internet Guest can then click on any site to check availability and show rates.
RDP's Internet Reservation Module (IRM) allows guests, travel agents, groups, wholesalers and others to make reservations 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, directly into your RDP database. The Virtual Store module increases the functionality of the IRM to sell the Internet guest additional items during the reservation process, such as

The Virtual Store works in conjunction with the Internet Reservation Module to help maximize the positive guest experience and incidental revenue. By selling directly to the public, all third-party commissions are bypassed. No more paying travel agents, GDS providers, or Wholesalers. See RDP Virtual Store for sample screens and details.
The system automatically bills the guest for site rental each day (short term reservations) or monthly. Additional charges can be automatically added for items such as electric usage, internet connectivity, etc. Electric meter readings can be stored in the system, and various reports show electric usage and costs.
RDP offers an extensive Work Order & Asset Management system that is extremely useful for campgrounds. All guest requests for each site can be tracked. Additionally, all assets can be entered such as trucks, pool heaters, etc. The Work Order Monitor screen displays the current status of all work orders and auto-refreshes as work orders are added, changed, or closed. Maintenance personnel can be automatically notified of new work orders via text emails to a Cell phone or wireless PDA.

High-speed Internet access has gone from a "nice benefit" to a "requirement" for many campers with luxury RV's. The question is not “if” a campground should deploy high-speed Internet access, but "how to" do it in a cost effective and profitable manner.
RDP has partnered with RoomLinx to provide a turnkey solution for wireless access and billing. Charges for Internet access can be charged by credit card or posted to the guest folio automatically. See RDP-Wireless Internet Access Interface.
