and Non-Active History Transactions

Overview

RDP posts transactions to reservations, travel agents, groups, and owners.  Transactions for reservations are stored in two different files. The HEXPENSE.DAT file (active) holds all transactions for future, in-house, and active history reservations.  The HEXPHIST.DAT file (non-active) holds all transactions on non-active history reservations.  Transactions are moved from the "active" file to the non-active file about every 60 days.  The exact number of days is controlled by the setting with RDP090 in Table C1, Sub-record 910.

Implementation

Download and install the new Crystal reports to your server.  Assuming your workstations are already using RDP Reporter Version 8.5.xxx, only an update to the server is required, which is file "RDPRptr-Server-xxxxx".   For detailed directions, call RDP support at 970-845-7108.

The following reports have been changed to have a subreport that reads the history file.  The totals from both the current and historic files are added together into the grand totals on the report.  These reports now match the RDP-DOS versions (709,762,763 & 764).
