Vacation
Protection

Vacation Protection is also known as "Travel Insurance". Travel Guard offers two kinds of Vacation Protection, All Seasons Travel Plan and Lodging Protection Plan. The All Seasons Travel Plan calculates the Vacation Protection amount as 7% of the total reservation, including taxes and all package components such as breakfast, champagne, or show tickets. You earn 30% of the premium. Consider a $3,000 reservation for example. The Vacation Protection fee is (.07 x 3000) = $210. You would receive $73.50 for this reservation. The Lodging Protection Plan is a product designed for hotels and smaller resorts, and charges a $15 flat fee to the reservation. Accidental Rental Damage Insurance

Accidental Rental Damage Insurace is designed to replace a security deposit. Properties may select whether they will offer Standard or Premium Security Accidental Rental Damage Insurance. Standard protection is a charge of $45 to the reservation, while Premium protection is a $69 charge. You receive a commission for every Accidental Rental Damage Insurance transaction! A traditional security deposit must be collected when the reservation is made and refunded after departure. No revenue is generated. By selling Accidental Rental Damage Insurance, you could generate more than $50,000 in extra revenue each year based on your reservation volume! RDPWin automatically interfaces with our partner Travel Guard to complete all the insurance paperwork.

Sell Travel Services Directly From the RDP Reservation System!

During the reservation process, RDPWin calculates the unique room rate for every available unit that meets the guest requests. In addition, the system can calculate the Vacation Protection and Accidental Damage Deposit Waiver, as well as five other charges. The Available Rooms sample below shows these charges. If the guest does not wish to purchase these items, the reservationist can easily turn them off by unchecking the "Vacation Protection" box.

Various Crystal Reports Available

There are a wide variety of reports available to show the travel services sold, including revenue per day, month, and year. The report below shows all Vacation Protection sold for a particular day. The RDP General Ledger tracks all revenue automatically.

Monitor Reservations Showing Travel Services

In addition to a variety of Crystal Reports related to Travel Services, the RDPWin includes a powerful Monitor Reservations screen that shows all reservations with Vacation Protection and/or Security Deposit Protection with the amount and policy number. All paperwork related to selling the policy is automatically handled by the RDP-Travel Guard interface.
